Check-in timings are 1400 hrs.

Delhi is a city that bridges two different worlds. Old Delhi, once the capital of Islamic India, is a labyrinth of narrow lanes lined with crumbling havelis and formidable mosques. In contrast, the imperial city of New Delhi created by the British Raj is composed of spacious, tree-lined avenues and imposing government buildings. Delhi has been the seat of power for several rulers and many empires for about a millennium. Many a times the city was built, destroyed and then rebuilt here. Interestingly, a number of Delhi's rulers played a dual role, first as destroyers and then as creators.

The city's importance lies not just in its past glory as the seat of empires and magnificent monuments, but also in the rich and diverse cultures. No wonder chroniclers of Delhi culture - from Chand Bardai and Amir Khusro to present day writers - have never been at a loss for topics. In Delhi, you will discover that the city is sprinkled with dazzling gems: captivating ancient monuments, fascinating museums and art galleries, architectural wonders, a vivacious performing-arts scene, fabulous eating places and bustling markets.

Day 02 : Delhi – Agra (205 Kms Drive)

Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast at around 0900 hours, we will take you to a city tour of Old and New Delhi visiting Red fort, Jama Mosque, Raj Ghat, India Gate, presidential building complex, Humayun’s tomb, Qutub Minar etc.

Later proceed to Agra via Yamuna express way. Upon arrival in Agra check in at the hotel.

Agra has found its mention in the famous Hindu epic Mahabharat as the forest of Agraban close to Mathura. Badal Singh founded the city in 1475. Sikandar Lodhi made Agra his capital city. Later, Babur defeated the Lodhis to capture the city situated on the banks of River Yamuna and thus, the long association of Mughals with Agra started. The Mughal love of architecture translated into beautiful monuments such as Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri and Sikandra. The glory of Agra was at its peak during the reign of Akbar, Jehangir and Shah Jahan. Akbar made it the center of art, culture, commerce and learning and Shah Jahan saw it in full bloom.

Taj Mahal
Taj Mahal - Agra
Day 03 : Agra – Jaipur (245 Kms Drive)

Early morning visit Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is the eternal of love, built in white marble by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his Emperor Mumtaz Mahal.

The Taj Mahal reigns supreme as one of the most recognizable and iconic images of India. Its delicate minarets, gracefully curved archways and domes have led many to make the pilgrimage to stand at its entrance and wonder at its grandeur. The wonder isn’t only found in its construction. Here stands a building that is as rich in history as it is in opulent marble.

Below are some different shades of one of the greatest monuments of all time “Taj Mahal”

After visiting Taj Mahal, breakfast in the hotel, later drive to Jaipur en-route visiting the “abandoned city” of Fatehpur Sikri.

Fatehpur Sikri
Fatehpur Sikri

Fatehpur Sikri is a fascinating ghost city built in the 16th century, 37 km from Agra.

This historic site was founded by Akbar the great, who at 26 years did not have a heir. He went to a saint, Shaikh Salim Chishti who lived in a city called Sikri. His blessing gave Akbar 3 sons. As a gesture, Akbar built a whole new city in Sikri. It was built between 1569 and 1585 and was intended to be the joint capital with Agra, but was soon deserted because the water system could not support any residents. It remained untouched for over 400 years now and its palaces are a remainder of the extravagance of the Mughals.
Upon arrival, check in at hotel.

Amber Fort Elephant Ride
Elephant Ride - Amber Fort

Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast, visit Amber Fort and Elephant ride with guide. Amber, built by Man Singh, embodies the Rajput belief that the fort symbolises the strength of the King. Its commanding view, sheer walls and rock face, and the curved route that leads to the palaces within, all point to concern with security and defence. Afternoon proceed for half day city tour of Jaipur visiting Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Albert Hall. Here you will see the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) with its incredible facade of balconies and pierced screens, the Jantar Mantar (the Observatory), and the City Palace Musuem.
Evening enjoy a rickshaw ride in the local markets of this beautiful city famously known as “The Pink City”
